Amadeus Restaurant, Patisserie, and Bar bears the name of famed Austrian composer Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and his Viennese influence is evident in the ambiance created at each of our restaurants from the stylized interior design and dcor elements, to the carefully selected music, and the authentic home cooked fare that is elegantly served by our attentive staff.
Amadeus first opened its doors to the public in Jakarta in 2002. Co-owned by the Froeschl Brothers, Christian and Karl, these natives of Zwettl, Austria shared a lifetime passion for great food, and are now living out their culinary vision by personally managing the operations, creative process, and service provided at each of their fine restaurants.
Christian is a charming and outgoing person, he takes pride in the creative process of designing great tasting, original recipes, and enjoys interacting with his staff and customers.
Older brother Karl is a well-traveled professional bartender and cook. He has an easygoing demeanor and loves nothing more than creating innovative food and cocktails. He is also passionate about music, and appreciative of the cultures and heritage of the many countries he travels to.
