      • This is a story of a banana. He was a short ugly yellow chicita banana, but he still liked being a banana. One day this banana met a pirate and got angry. Why, who knows? He's a banana, and bananas do crazy things. Anyways that night, after the pirate was working his game on a young lady and had gotten her phone number, the banana went nuts and took the number written in pen and licked it until it was erased. Then the banana laughed and went to bed. THE END.

Morale: Never be friends with a banana

      • DG is the perfect combination of East Coast attitude and Midwest charm. Hes managed to take the best of everywhere hes been DC, Jersey, Boston, St. Louis and roll it into a person thats (wicked?) awesome to be around.

I admire his devotion to the game of baseball, and wish I had his ear for music.

A dozen years later and still one of the best friends I could ever ask for.

      • DG's a good man, like a brother to me.
We've been friends for 10 years, not
counting the six months when we weren't
speaking, and if we haven't killed each
other by now, it probably won't happen.
He'll bait you into an argument you
didn't want to have, but then can't
bear to lose - especially to a guy with
shit for music tastes... But he'd do
anything to help a friend, and I don't
if we can all say that about ourselves.

      • When I was a freshman, I lost my phone
cherry to D.G. We spent that first year
chatting from different cities over phone or e-
mail about everything under the sky. I was
appalled when I was reminded that he was
real, and someone could know that much
about me. But I stuck around, and have had
the pleasure of visiting him, or vice versa,
ever since. He's a great listener, even better
at telling you when you're being an idiot, has
the sharpest wit I know, and always makes a
        boy feel beautiful.
