About Me:
Being overly trendy and fitting into certain stereotypes is not my thing. I'd rather go to a hole in the wall bar with my best friends and have many many beers than go to the hot place to be (by which I mean you can find me and the Boys at the Red Hat in Boston, or drinking on my roommate's tab at Carpool in Arlington). I love getting lost in cities which I've never visited, and figuring my way out. My friends think I'm cool... well, they love me despite my lack of coolness, and frankly that's what matters to me. I'll be the one who makes you laugh, but I've also been known as the one who makes you cry.
"The reality of the other person lies not in what he reveals to you, but what he cannot reveal to you. Therefore, if you would understand him, listen not to what he says, but rather to what he does not say." -Khalil Gibran

Who I Want to Meet:
Someone who makes me laugh. Someone who makes me think. Someone who makes me think about laughing and laugh about thinking. Ideally, someone whose name instantly gets "At Last" by Etta James stuck in my head.

Testimonials and Comments for DG
Morale: Never be friends with a banana
HOLY CRAP!
the end.
I admire his devotion to the game of baseball, and wish I had his ear for music.
A dozen years later and still one of the best friends I could ever ask for.
We've been friends for 10 years, not
counting the six months when we weren't
speaking, and if we haven't killed each
other by now, it probably won't happen.
He'll bait you into an argument you
didn't want to have, but then can't
bear to lose - especially to a guy with
shit for music tastes... But he'd do
anything to help a friend, and I don't
if we can all say that about ourselves.
met him one guy too late :( He's the
best listener and awesome to hang out
with. I miss him lots...can't wait to
have you back in Boston...:)
cherry to D.G. We spent that first year
chatting from different cities over phone or e-
mail about everything under the sky. I was
appalled when I was reminded that he was
real, and someone could know that much
about me. But I stuck around, and have had
the pleasure of visiting him, or vice versa,
ever since. He's a great listener, even better
at telling you when you're being an idiot, has
the sharpest wit I know, and always makes a
boy feel beautiful.
