About Me:
I'm a media addict in, oh, so many ways. Always needing an influx of new sources, ideas, and connections, I tend to geek out more on the indie side of media: zines, comics, punk rock, etc. Stuff that's under the radar. But I also have a hand in mainstream media, too, so it all overlaps and relates.
I'm pretty hyper, spazzy, and distracted most of the time. Yet I sleep a _lot_ and quite like the sound of birdsong at sunrise. I don't eat very well, yet I love to cook. My apartment is a rat's nest of records, magazines, books, and assorted media ephemera.
I sing in a punk-rock band called the Trylons. I do a blog called Media Diet.
And I'm quite happy to be here.

Testimonials and Comments for Heath
interesting costume. If memory serves,
it involved cardboard tubes around his
extremities,or maybe duct tape, and
googly antennae. He sang some loud and
silly songs and then we burned some
art. Heath has an interesting way of
moving his mouth when he speaks- I
think it's because he is from the
Midwest. Or maybe it's just one clue to
his pervasive interestingness. Heath
introduced me to wheat beer. Did you
put that in a song, Heath?
zines. And, for some weird reason,
clean laundry. Both of which are very
good things.
want to keep up with all the latest in
media, check in with Heath. Heath also
quite facile with negotiating the
Cambridge pub scene.
then. He rocks now.
was human. See all those activities and
all that media he takes in? You do the
math. Sleep, for example when does he
do that? I'm not sure he blinks either,
but maybe we blink at the same time.
I'll tell you one thing though, the man

work. I was expecting a boring middle
aged guy into business I'd host for a
day. Instead I got a really cool,
skate-punk who shared my interest in
the screwier parts of life, was great
to go drinking with and suitably awed
at my ability to clear the bar of
undesirables with a few well chosen
jukebox selection. Heath is a real
sweetie and now that we've gotten back
in touch I hope another opportunity to
hang out in person arises.
I'll fix risotto if you can swing a
visit Heath.
he really means it. You'll be glad you
met him, too. Oh, and he's very
forgiving about returning loaned books
and CDs.
