Testimonials and Comments for Quinn
days of yesteryear when kilborn was on
the daily show, peter krause was on
sports night, and olbermann was on msnbc
the first time. those days may be gone,
but quinn is still totally cool. she's
one of those awesome *real* bookish
nerds (not the posers that are all, uh,
i read hamlet for school, i'm hip) that
everyone should know. i know damn near
all of my internet friends thanks to
quinn, and i'm glad i can count her as
one of them. huzzah for quinn! :)
She's that hot.
creative...I'm sure she'll go far with her
writing if she sticks to it! She also
sends really neat stuff and has the
world's cutest puppies!
Hey, this is Chinook of Chagrin Falls,
Ohio. You might know me better as one
of the girls who obsess over They
Might Be Giants. You know, chemistry
is like a relationship and that's why
when you're looking for a friend, go
to the best: Quinners. You might not
know it, but over 50% of TMBG fans are
sleepy and cranky. Quinn, through
living with great taste and actively
awesome writing skills, has over 10
million cool things to say when you
want to have a conversation whatever-
they-call-it. Conan powered and John-
fueled, Quinn... is one of the best
and most interesting buddies you could
ever have.
Oranges, oranges
Oranges and poetry writing
Quinn spends her time growing
Oranges, picking oranges
Then writing lots of cool poetry
Quinn writes all the time, all the
time. :P
Quinn was the first online TMBG buddy I
had, and we had some great times back
then. She continually amazes me with
her writing, and I totally envy her
talent. She has fabulous taste in music
and books, and is just an all-around
interesting and fun person.
Oh, Q and I have so many esoterical
quotes it's ridiculous. Whether it was
going to see A. Whitney Brown at the
Dily Show in NYC, or visiting Jack
Kerouac's gave, we've had some great
time. She's been my friend longer than
most. She's an extremely talented
writer, has rapier wit and knows evil
lemonade when she sees it. I love her.
Someday I hope her and I can take a
long roadtrip across the US of A and
document all the weird shit, just like
we planned as 16 year olds. And I'll
still be weird when I'm 36, and I
expect Quinn to be by my side, reading
me books of her published poetry.
"Oh, and uh, for the record...I don't
have to" *wink*
