Based on our survey almost 83% of the bands affiliation goes to Kruger while the remaining percentage goes to the rest of the band members. This was approved by the Philippines Census Committee.

THE JAVASKAGGS
(Java- Coffee / Skaggs - Cigarettes)
The band was formed way back in Febuary,2002 during the high school days of classmates oliver(vocals), carlo(guitars), luibie(drums), nikko (keyboards), salvador(bass), and kruger(percussions). For three years they still have not decided of what will they call themselves. Until their senior days in high school they decided to call themselves as the the Javaskaggs which was derived from two naval terms in CAT "java" which means coffee and "skaggs" which means cigarettes.
From alternative music evolving to Reggae and Ska music with the influence of the local bands The Gadfly and The Wicked Tarsiers. After few rehearsals the band got the chance of playing outside the school by the help of Kholai Perez who produced the "Suck! Sugarcane Suck!. Being a front act during the gig became very special to group. And it was followed by another gig at the capitol Lagoon dubbed as "Concert for peace" which was casted by the local bands of Bacolod.
After few months salvador(bass) left the band because of personal reasons. But weeks later the band met Jopet as the replacement of Salvador. And the Javaskaggs was back in action after winning 1st runner-up in a battle of the band in Talisay City, and 3rd runner-up in Riverside College. Months have passed changes in the line-up was done replacing the bassist because several reasons. Jonathan Lindaya of the Lunch Day Parade, Burning Herbs was hired as the new bassist. Adding also into the line-up Bryan Uychiat(Porno Death Squad) as additional guitarist.
As time passed they decided to hire new member for the brass section to complete the whole line up of the band. Remer(Trombone), Denny(Trumpet),Julius(Saxophone) was added to the group last September 15, 2004.
