About Me:
I haven't updated my Friendster profile in a year or more! I'm mostly on Facebook and Myspace these days, but I see some of my friends are still active here. So, here's the latest.
I'm pretty busy these days trying to live authentically, usefully, humbly and fully. This is an ongoing and enriching process which excites and infuriates me daily.
I've done a bunch of stuff -- like writing and editing for some magazines, helping run several national political parties, raising sheep in rural Maine, almost becoming a Benedictine monk, designing software, DJing, shooting and editing video.
Today, I live back near where I grew up in the Village and write and manage web development projects.

Who I Want to Meet:
interesting people who help me see things differently; good people who are honest and true; friends who bring me comfort by sharing their company; people who mean it when they hug. I love being with people it's easy to be with, where I can be silent or blabber, and both are OK. I'm not interested in arguing -- I don't consider that entertaining -- but I'm happy to talk stuff through and find common ground.

Testimonials and Comments for Phil
good one!
motherfucking nonsense! God damned,
shit fucking sick of all of it! Phil caught
me passed out and photographed me
making out with a duck! A God damned,
motherfucking, shit eating, cabin boy
buggering little duck! . . . God, do I hope
he shows everybody. I mean, everyone.
Every last one of you mild-mannered
bitch maid pathetic souls had better
motherfucking see me paste some cock
stanking tonsil slapping on this rotten
and depraved little quacking sex tanker. I
want ornithologists across this whole
ghastly, republican, neo-conservative
chunk of time, space and wheat that I've
call home for 23 years wacking off while
staring at some New York City longhair
digging out a thickly stuffed mallard on
his brand new, gorgeous, chestnut, and
delectably soft felt sofa.
this demonic look in his eyes like he
wants to take an iron stick and beat the
funny right out of me. See kids, phil is
tough
Hes all smart and dorky yet cool with his
earings and his love of Punk Rock and
dislike for a really good fish taco and of
course his love for good British television
Phil is nice to have a good cry with, hes
the sensitive type, who appreciates the
trauma of having stuff like tink die
All in all, Phil is A-Okay in my book
Homie is illin'
heart and laughs a lot ... two of the best qualities
a person can have - qualities that make him ... a
lot like me! It seems as if he just appeared out of
no where, and is suddenly everywhere - and that
makes me happy. Can never have too much of a
good thing .... well... I suppose that's debateable.
Depends on the definition of "good." But Phil is
the kind of good that is good to have around. . .
not like toffee almond bars ... or crack. Keep on
laughing Phil - cheerfullness and laughter lead to
usefullness. Or so I hear.
Where'd THAT Phil come from?! And you
said you thought you wouldn't get along
with a guy who looks like ME....
smart and kind. I am always so happy to
see Phil. He uses "the force" for the side
of good, not evil.
is, as you can see, the exact opposite of
mine.
dearest friends. Even if there were no
such thing as "Friendster"
and "Testimonials" this would be true.
But then people would think I was
really "Funny" because I bought a
domain just to tack up a message about
how amazing and honest and wonderful
is my friend Phil. I learn so much from
him. Now it's okay to hug people : )
Thank you for you, Phil. Let's be the
Golden Girls next year. You can be the
sexy one and I'll be the mean one.
fleeting interactions between us, can
say with all confidence that I get a good
vibe from him. This vibe is so good as
to inspire me to issue this text-based
electronic endorsement, based on my
intuitive impression of his character,
which, as aforementioned, is favorable.
