About Me:
From the group of thousand high school graduates, we did compete at the entrance exam, reducing our numbers to just around 500. The exam wasn't tough to some but pressured in time. It is not more on what is the answer but on how to manage your answer, reconciling accuracy and speed. Only the few can pass that way, co'z only few can think that way. Now they're the brightest of secondary fresh grads, of the whole of Negros aspiring to enter TUPV, the once and the same glorious VTI.
But the number of students still needs to be reduced to almost half... and the rigid interview screened out what is known to be, the cream of the negros' brightest. Of course, it is not a secure pass to be a true blooded tup-vian.. Three (3) straight years of engineering technology with no vacation/break will make you one. Some choose to stay to finish their degree, others choose to make an outright use of it due to financial constraints or just to liberate themselves from being dependents. Others still, were not able to make it.
Whichever ways we've taken or will take, will make us no more the same again. The moment we took to ourselves our diploma, the testament of years of sweat and tears, and that first step out of our alma mater's portal, we knew to ourselves that we are to begin serving mankind, and will be a catalyst of change... and this will not just be for a moment... but forever, neither locally but globally.
And who knows? We might even witness a comrade sending a TUP-V inspired technology towards the edge of space!
That's me.... that's you.... that's us! Therefore keep yourselves tough and united.
