The Philippine Underwater Hockey Confederation (PUHC) conducts the underwater hockey school, a program to teach the basics of underwater hockey. It consists of ten sessions with both on-deck lectures and in-pool instruction by the more experienced players of the game.

UWHS is conducted twice a week; it is structured in a comfortable pace to teach beginners at least one aspect of the sport every session. Learning aids provided in school are helpful for a better understanding of the basics. The beginners are also allowed to play among themselves under the supervision of the instructors and veteran players.

This year's underwater hockey school starts on May 5. Interested parties may attend the trial class on April 26, 12-3pm at the Manila Polo Club. Pool fee is P200.
