        • Mother, is the name of a living Buddha.
          Her selflessness reflects Buddha’s nature.
To be a Buddhist, first, be a dutiful child...

          Happy Mother’s Day,
And a Happy Vesak Day to all beings...

        • As you quietly open your eyes every morning, remember to shut your dream.
As you carefully dress up for your day, remember to take down your ego.
As you hastily step out of your house, remember to walk into a journey of Loving-kindness...

        • If purity were to take a form, it will be the lotus on the pond.
If love were to take a form, it will be the sunshine in winter climate.
If selflessness were to take a form, it will be the lighted candle in the darkness.
If all values were to come togather as one, it will be called "MOTHER"...

May all Mothers be blessed with family joy.
          HAPPY MOTHER's DAY

        • The Metta Sutta - one of Buddhism's most highly regarded scriptures. The following lines is found in it: Just as a mother would protect her only child at the risk of her own life, even so, let him cultivate a boundless heart towards all beings. This 'boundless heart' is what mothers have in the way they look after and nurture their children. What Buddhism asks us to do, is to first develop this within ourselves more fully and then to extend it to others, whoever they may be.

          With Metta,
          Happy Mother's Day
          Happy Vesak 2551
