What is Tongue 2 Tongue: Provoking Critical Dialogues Among Queer Women of Color?
Tongue 2 Tongue: Provoking Critical Dialogue Among Queer Women of Color a is a three-day long dialogue among queer women of color which will feature workshops, lectures, visual art, film, performances and a space where dialogues can emerge into action in our various communities through proposals for continued organizing and solidarity building.

Tongue 2 Tongue: Provoking Critical Dialogues Among Queer Women of Color is a social change event that aims to deepen analysis of-, broaden dialogue on-, and instigate response to the on-going critical issues created out of the intersecting sites of race, class, gender, sexuality, citizenship, and nationalism.

Why Tongue 2 Tongue?
For years, queer women of color have been instrumental to social justice struggles but we have yet to find a collective voice. Tongue 2 Tongue believes that provoking honest and difficult dialogue is a critical first step toward building and strengthening community alliances. Who is Tongue 2 Tongue?
A group of self-identified queer women of color have come together to spark productive and radical cross collaborations among queer women of color communities. All self-identified queer women of color including transgender, genderqueer and gender non-conforming people are invited to attend and participate. Tongue 2 Tongue honors transgender and genderqueer experiences of womanhood which have historically been silenced in women-oriented spaces.
